Inspired by the theories that connect the television show, Adventure Time, and film, Mad Max: Fury Road, a fan-made video re-imagines the similar post-apocalyptic worlds of the two. It seems as if George Miller, the director of Fury Road, watched Adventure Time with a close eye on the madness that informs the popular television shows’ characters. The Ice King for instance, would be the perfect Immortan Joe. Both characters are clearly crazy because of their power and desperate demand for beautiful women to be their prisoners and lovers. These two characters have lost their humanity, against their will or not.
Both of these stories have layers upon layers of thought-provoking commentary on what this world could be if there was an apocalypse. It’s a sick video! Check it out!
