The Gun Ballet: the Heart and Soul of SpringBreakers

This scene in Harmony Korine’s 2013 indie hit SpringBreakers is one of the best scenes in the film. It celebrates the 21st century with bright, fun colors and James Franco doing an awesome rendition of a Britney Spears song, “Everytime.” But this is also a critique of this generation of young people and shows the true horrors of what a bunch of hot, young college kids can do when they’re simply just bored.
